"With our ChalleNGe Program, the Arizona National Guard will be able to fill a void by providing a challenging military-based educational program in residence for high school dropouts who desire to succeed; thereby keeping with the theme developed by the National Guard Bureau "ADDING VALUE TO AMERICA". The intent of our program is to challenge each participant academically, physically, psychologically, and emotionally so that they can function productively in our community".

Organization History:

In 1993, Arizona demonstrated national leadership by becoming one of the first in 10 states to establish and fund a Project ChalleNGe Program. Since then 27 in 25 states have followed our lead. There is NO COST to the student or the student's family. The Arizona National Guard Military Youth Corps Challenge Program is paid for by the United States Department of Defense and supported by the National Guard Bureau and the State of Arizona. We are a non-profit (501(c)(3) organization. Our monies for Scholarships are from fundraisers, public donations.
